The other day, I watched the movie Steel Magnolias. Its about this girl who gets married, but she is diabetic. She is told she shouldn't have a kid, but does anyway. Then, her kidneys start to give out so she gets a transplant, but ends up dying anyway. Trust me , though, there is a lot more to the movie than that.
The whole moral of the story is that women are the Steel Magnolias. We're pretty like flowers, and we're supposed to be delicate. That's the way everyone thinks of us. But in times of trouble, we're the ones who are made of steel. We stand strong and keep others from falling when times get tough. As women, we are made of steel. We can stick around when the guys can't. In times of sadness especially.
Personally, I consider myself very much a steel magnolia. I have this ability to, when needed, basically turn off my emotions so that I can hold up in the situation. The thing about this is that I also have to break down sometime later, as the girl's mother did in the movie. And I think that, as women, it is important to have this trait and pass it on to other girls who are younger, so that they can stand strong when the time comes.
Today there was a car crash re-enactment at our school. I knew about it, but I was not looking forward to it because I cannot stand sad things like that. However, myself and many other girls got through it without shedding a single tear. Yes, it was sad. Yes, there is a guy dressed as the grim reaper walking around, taking kids out of class. Yes, it has had an impact on many of us. But just because we are told "you should cry", doesn't mean that we can't stand tall and... take it like a man.
Now I want to go home and watch steel magnolias again. The original one, not the new, lifetime movie one. It is such a good, and emotional movie. It was made in, like, the 80's. I have a friend named Shelby, who was named after the main character in the movie. If you haven't seen it, I suggest watching it.
Love,
Elizabeth W.

Waiting...
Today, I am simply waiting.
Waiting for lunch, so I can request a transcript and get a new library book.
Waiting for school to be over for the day so I can eat and go to practice and perform The Effect Of Gamma Rays On Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds one LAST time.
Waiting for prom.
Waiting for my first kiss.
Waiting to dress up as Snow White for $50 and the happiness of a two year old.
Waiting for senior trip.
Waiting for graduation.
Waiting to get money from relatives.
Waiting for scholarships, scholarships, and more scholarships.
Waiting for summer.
Waiting for red hair, short shorts, and tank tops every day.
Waiting for a new camera and some awesome new videos.
Waiting to get new, decent editing software.
Waiting to make money through the internet.
Waiting to become famous.
Waiting to go to college.
Waiting to direct my first movie.
Waiting for someone to ask for my autograph.
Waiting for someone to recognize me on the street.
Waiting to record my first album.
Waiting to move out of my parents' house.
Waiting to get married.
I really can't think of anything to blog about today, but at least I got that out in the open. I'm obiously waiting for many things, but with good reason. I just feel overwhelmed sometimes, with all of the things I'm waiting and hoping for. I have to just take a step back and go on with the little bit of the plan that takes place today.
If you haven't noticed already, the very last showing of The Effect Of Gamma Rays On Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds by our One Act Play group is tonight. Its a pretty good show, even if we only got alternate at region. Admission is like $3 I think, and all of the procedes go to the family of the kids in the advancing 1A One act play that got killed in a car crash right after their district contest.
The only thing that I don't like about theatre is having to wear stage makeup. It is really gross and it makes me break out. I had to wear it yesterday for pictures, and I'll have to wear it again today. Why does my face have to go through this right before prom?!
I don't have anything to say, but I want to keep typing. I guess I'll put something new on the lifescouts page. Bleh.
Love,
Elizabeth W.

Reasons
Today is kind of strange because I'm still trying to figure out how it will work, as I go through it. I missed the Aquatic Science field trip because I have to go to the official rehearsal for the oap contest tomorrow. I also have to have money for my lunch, which I managed to get from my mother about 10 seconds before leaving the car this morning. I didn't get my makeup work yesterday, so I went to get it this morning, but only one teacher was there. The only class I'm worried about is spanish, and I guess I'll go in tomorrow morning and get my work. I just hope she isn't mad.
Today in FCA, shelby discussed something that was mentioned at DNOW last weekend, which I was not able to attend. I found it rather interesting, and I jotted some of the things down for future reference. The subject was how to prove that the bible is true.
The first thing that Shelby mentioned is that the bible was written by over 40 different people over hundreds of years. Some of the people didn't even know eachother. They all quote eachother, showing that they believed what the others said, and nothing conflicts. This is important, because all other religions with sacred texts say that their text was written by only one person at one time, so there is no proof that they were right. They could have made the whole thing up. Not to mention, there were over 6000 manuscripts of the New Testament that have been found, while Homer's Illiad (or maybe it was the odyssey) only has about 600.
Another point was that thousands of archeological digs have found things that are mentioned in the bible. Like, when they found the town that they think was sodom and gomorra (I probably spelled that horribly wrong!) where fire was supposed to have rained down on the city, they could tell from the remains and ashes that the fire had started on the roofs of the building, meaning that it was possible that the fire had come from the sky. They also found the city of Jericho. The walls were found to have fallen outward, in a way that they seem to have been pushed outward from the inside, proving that story true.
Most religions have the concept of a flood story, like that of Noah and the ark, because if there was a big flood, everyone is going to know about it. Some people worked out the math and models and proved that the size and shape of the ark made it virtually unsinkable. However, when they tested the sizes and shapes of the other boats from other flood stories, all of those boats were found to be sinkable. God's perfect boat plans prove that he is almighty.
Lastly, some scientists who didn't believe that man could be made from dirt, as stated in Genesis when God created man from the soil, got together and did some tests. They found that every thing that makes up man can also be found in dirt. Something as complex as a human being came from dirt, but that can only be done via supernatural intervention, AKA: God!
I just can't see how people can disagree with evidence like that.

Elizabeth W.

Catching my breath, and hoping the week rushes by...
I woke up this morning and I felt absolutely terrible. I couldn't stand up for long periods of time, my stomach hurt, the whole deal. So, I pushed through it and went to school anyway. I feel significantly better now, but I would really like to just fast forward through the rest of this week.
Today and tomorrow are the only days I will be officially at school this week. And that means that I have to worry about getting makeup work, plus I have to go to the counselor's office and get a few more scholarship applications. I have some that have due dates coming up, so I have to finish those and send them in.
Wednesday I will be at school for about half of the day, because that is the day that we will go to rehearse on the official huntsville stage. Then, on Thursday, we have contest at the huntsville stage. I will have been to huntsville three times within 5 days.
I am looking foreward to Friday and Saturday, because my mom and I are going to San Marcos to visit the college. We will leave early Friday, to get there with plenty of time, since its like four hours away. We'll spend some time taking more senior pictures and wandering around, doing whatever. That night we will stay in a hotel, and in the morning we will get up and go to the college. I'm going to bring my laptop so I can vlog on those days. I haven't really been consistent with my vlogging times, but I have managed to vlog every day in April so far. I am not sure how I will do so on Wednesday or Thursday, but I will figure something out.
I think that I want to get another SMASH book for when I start college, and do one every year from then on. Its like scrapbooking, but more free-form, so its easier. Plus, I can take it with me and work on it anytime. I was SMASHing things on the car ride yesterday, when we were on the way to the arboreum and botanical gardens to take pictures.
I think I am going to work on my SMASH book now, since I feel like it. I feel like there is something more productive I could be doing, but I don't exactly feel great.
Love,
Elizabeth W.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's day to my wonderful readers! I hope that you have a great day, whether you spend it with your significant other or alone. Just remember that no matter who loves you or hates you, God loves you more than any human could, in fact, more than any human could fathom.
The school day began for me by exchanging valentine gifts with the Taylord. (His name is taylor, but we have a joke about him being like a time lord, therefore he shall be referred to as Taylord.) I gave him a little stuffed gorilla and a whole bag of his favourite candy. He gave me a GIANT stuffed bear. It is literally half my size, and I'm 5' 5", so thats saying something. The only sad thing is that I have to leave it in the office all day and pick it up after school because the VP said it was too big for me to carry around all day. I am rather annoyed about that. But, it gives me something to look foreward to at the end of the day.

Last night I printed out Doctor Who valentines to give to my dearest friends. Many of them don't watch Doctor Who, so they were rather confused and I had to explain, but thats okay. One of my friends who I was really excited about giving a DW valentine to wasn't at school today, so I am a little disappointed.
I have had nothing to eat or drink today except a package of Rolos candies. I am starving. And thirsty. Lunch will not come soon enough.
Yesterday our rabbit had babies. Sadly they did not make it (this is not meant to be depressing, its just a fact of life (Its the circle of life, and it moves us all through despair and hope, through faith and love, 'til we find our place on the path unwinding, its the circle, the circle of life!)). However, this was the first time I have seen rabbit babies shortly after they were born. They had pig-like tails and were all pink and fur-less. They were really tiny too. You could hold all of them in your two hands. Even though they had very few other distinguishable features, they had rodent-like teeth already. It was kind of weird.
Last period I had to make a word search by hand. However, I used pencil so it kind of smudged all over the page. I think it will still be okay. I put all of the words in it, however, I have not filled in ALL of the spaces yet. I figure I will do it in my free time today.
The school computer is being really slow today and its annoying the heck out of me. I'm trying to look things up and it won't even load google hardly. GAH!
I have drama practice today. One Valentines day. Apparently, the drama teacher cares not about holidays. We also have practice on spring break. BLECH.
I just got candy. Valentines M&Ms. Because I was lucky enough to be in the library. On Valentines day. Awesome.
So, for valentines day, here is my gift to you:
Ha, Doctor Who reference, with the 9th doctor (my favourite).

Night 1 In Review
Yesterday was an excruciatingly long day. First there was the school part, which was okay, but it seemed to drag on forever. I presented my composition in spanish class from memory, and I think I did pretty well. I've gotten to the point in learning spanish that if I can't remember exactly what the word is, I can say something like it that means the same thing. Basically, I can just wing it if I have to. Then, I went to comedy throwdown. For the first night, it went rather well. There was only a minor amount of confusion, and the production class was really funny. Tonight and Saturday night should be a lot smoother and hopefully a lot more entertaining.
Taylor, I can see you while I'm typing this. Your class just came into the library computer lab and I can see you through the doorway. You're sitting by Michael. But, now the teacher closed the door. If you're not Taylor, feel free to ignore this paragraph that you just read. I made it small so that It is less obvious. Then again, that may make it more obvious. Either way, carry on.
I think the most hilarious thing that I have ever seen at comedy throwdown was my freshman year. I wasn't on an improv team, but I got to come and watch. One game, I can't even remember what it was, had these kids in production or one of the higher up theatre classes doing a scene. I can remember this blond kid speaking in a british accent and saying that he was like spiderman swinging down from a tall building. For some reason, it was absolutely hilarious.
Comedy Throwdown is modeled after a thing that happens in Houston called Comedy Sports. Its basically an improv show with quite a bit of audience interaction. I have never actually been to comedy sports, but I assume that it is rather fun.
Personally, improv is not my thing. I can do it, but I'm not that funny. I like to be dramatic, and I'm much better when I have lines, or at least some idea of what to say. I'mnot very quick or witty, except when I think afterwards of things I could have said.
I have a spanish quiz today, and I just made the flashcards this morning. PROCRASTINATION FOR THE WIN! Actually, I just haven't had the time to study until today. So, hopefully I can manage to stuff the last ten words into my brain that I haven't yet memorized.
The other day, my brother asked me what my blog is about. I responded with "Whatever I want it to be about!". I really, for the life of me cannot categorize the blog in that way. I talk about everything from my life to my schoolwork to college to books to movies to video making to random projects that I am working on. I really have no set topic. I think that I like it that way though. It lets me say and do whatever I want. I don't have to fit into a mold that I've set for myself. I can be goofy or I can be serious. I have heard it said that one of the things about humans is that they try to categorize things. I think its just too impossible to categorize some things, this blog being one of them.
DESCRIPTION PRACTICE TIME!
Pedaling. Constantly. I make my way up the large hill, although around here it could almost be considered a mountain. Finally. I breathe heavily, for I haven't done this in months. She sits there in her shorts and t-shirt, not winded at all, but waiting patiently. I pull the water from the small basket in front and take a nice long drink, cooling off to some extent. The sun beats heavily down on our backs and the tops of your heads. Thank God for sunscreen. The road is wide ahead, but curvy and rather intimidating. What happens if I lean too far one way? What if I crash off of the side? Nothing but a muddy ditch to break my fall. I turn on the camera and place it in the basket, pointing foreward. I may or may not ever do this again, for I am an extreme scaredy cat. Either way, I want to know what it would look like from that point of view. This is why I am friends with her, I tell myself. I need someone to push me to live a little and do seemingly crazy things like this. My heart is pounding in my ears. "Ready?" she asks. I nod, and we begin to edge foreward, only seconds away from a roller coaster experience. Then, the machines start moving on their own, pulled downward by the eternal force of gravity. We quickly pick up our feet, and we are off. The farther we get down the hill, the faster we go. I hear her exclamation of joy, and I try to do the same, but the noise is muffled by the wind rushing by our ears. She passes me up and we zoom around the curves with ease. Finally ride is over and the road straightens out enough to begin pedaling again.
Whoo! That was like experiencing that bike ride all over again. Wow.
By the way, don't forget to visit my lifescouts blog page, whic has a link up in the top left corner of the page. I post on there at least once a week, and I have stories to go along with all of the badges.

If I could skip the next 45 minutes of my life... Wait, the next two hours...
I am really dreading what I am about to go do.
I am going to talk to the counselor.
DUN DUN DUN!
Okay, so I really shouldn't be that worried, but I really hate confrontation. I hate talking to people who have authority over me. And I really don't care for the counselor lady anyway, since she has been nothing but mean toward me ever since I've known her and she is the least helpful person that I know, even though she should be the most helpful.
I have to go to her office and request 3 official transcripts (that is a really large number in my opinion) and get her to sign a scholarship application. WAIT! I just checked and realized that I really need 4 transcripts. I think I can just fill out a form to request trandscripts, but I have to actually talk to her to get the scholarship form signed. Ugh. I'm about to go. Wish me luck. Hopefully she doesn't eat me.
Love,
Elizabeth W.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, I just got back. I was down there less than 5 minutes. I requested the transcripts. That was the easy part. But the actual counselor wasn't there. Only her secretary. That means I have to go back in there during lunch to see if I can get the form signed. Maybe they'll have the transcripts ready by then.
I'm scared that they won't have them ready in time though. The person who had requested transcripts before me requested them yesterday and they hadn't been marked off the list yet. Hopefully the secretary can get on the ball and get them done by the end of today. I would love to have all of this scholarship stuff and college complications taken care of before the end of January.
I got new glasses yesterday. They were some that I had ordered online, and they arrived yesterday. All I can say is that if you want to get glasses for cheap, online is the way to go. I'm still not completely adjusted to them though. Occasionally, I get dizzy or my vision seems skewwed. I think that should go away within a day or two though. It scares me when I am walking up and down stairs though, because I feel like I might fall down.
If I can get all of my homework done, I might do a Vlog this weekend. Or maybe a music video. I am really in the mood for a music video. I haven't done one in a while. I will be babysitting my little brothers on saturday, so I might make a video with them. They have never been in any of my music videos that I have uploaded to youtube.
I think I may do both. I just need to find a program to edit with. I want to use PowerDirector again, but I don't have the money :(.
Oh, and I found out the other day that there is a tardis emoticon for on facebook and stuff.
[[tardis.emoticon]]
I wonder if it works here. Probably not. Whatever.
Love (again),
Elizabeth W.

Paper Towns
This morning, after three trips to the school library, I checked out the book "Paper Towns" by JOHN GREEN! I started reading it in seond period, so I am only on page 21, but I already love it. It is written really well and the plot is interesting and I cannot predict what will happen next.
My friend, Ellen, said that this was a really good book to read before "going away" from a place you have been your whole life to a new place. In that case, I really should technically be reading it this summer or in the last month or so of school, but this is close enough. I can see to some extent why, since the book starts off with the main character being a senior in high school and talking about prom and stuff. But, other than that, I am still unsure why.
I think that John Green, and Hank too for that matter, are really cool people. There are some things that they say and do that I don't particularly agree with, but you will find that with most any person. They are very civilized in their speaking and thinking, and they are very creative and nerdy. How else would they have thought to communicate with eachother via YouTube.
Speaking of which, I uploaded another YouTube video last night, and while I was editing it I discovered that yesterday was the last day of my PowerDirector free trial. BOOO! This means that I have to find a new editing software, hopefully one that is free. I downloaded a free trial of Sony Vegas, but the whole setup confuses me. It seems to complicated, at least for right now.
BOOM! Idea! When I have coffee, I talk and type very fast, and I can think faster too, or at least that is what it seems like. So, in order to have my vlogs be more fast paced and talk more fluently like the Green brothers (wow that sounds like they are brothers that painted themselves green), though I am not sure that fluently is the right word, I will simply drink coffee right before I vlog. PROBLEM SOLVED!
Anyway, I hope to someday have a channel that I share with my brothers in order to communicate in the same manner as John and Hank. Hank and John. Ehh. Whatever. The thing is, I would love to start this when I go off to college, but I do not know if my oldest younger brother (that will always sound weird, won't it), James, will be willing to do so. He does do some YouTube stuff (he is part of a group-owned channel called "Classy Sauce", so feel free to look him up), but I don't know how great he will be at vlogging and/or editing videos.
I could do it with my youngest brother, John, but he is currently too young to operate a camera and/or computer by himself. I could have them both do it, but I don't know how well that will work. I know that there will be some Skyping (it has just occured to me how strange it is that 'skyping' is now a verb) going on, especially when James needs help with his math homework. I really hope that he agrees to do a vlog-style communication thingy with me.
Oh, and I have tried to start planning out what I will do in my 365nerds nerdfigghter video on my birthday, but I really have no clue. If you have any ideas, feel free to comment with them or message me on facebook, youtube, google plus, tumblr, instagram, pinterest, whatever.

Yesterday when I was uploading the video to YouTube, a thing popped up that asked me if I wanted my channel name to be changed to my google+ name. I didn't see any harm in it and I was really annoyed that it kept popping up, so I said yes. Now I have no clue how to get to my inbox for youtube or anything like that. STUPID GOOGLE! Actually, google is very smart, but the things that they do with youtube really annoys me.

Off Balance
Something has happened to throw my life off balance. I'm not sure what it is.
I'm reading more than I have in a while. I drink coffee more often. I do more thinking than ever before. I have a crush on a boy for the first time in ages. I think that is part of it. I cannot get the work done that I plan to get done. Everything keeps getting put off. I have little or no time to myself. I have begun drawing and doodleing again. I visited the library two seperate times yesterday and checked out a book, something that I rarely do. I'm being a lot more talkative. I'm getting things done that I though to do years ago, butnot the things to do right now.
This is just wierd. My life has simply gone all topsy turvy. Maybe I'm just going crazy. Maybe I'm in love. I really don't know anymore.
Oh, and the internet at the school is being crappy and frustrating, so I am sorry that this post is short.
Oh, and right now I am reading another fantastic book:
Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz

Another Delicious Book
Sorry that I didn't post yesterday. The school's computers were being stupid and wouldn't let me get on blogger for some reason. But I did get on Tumblr when I go home, and I'm slowly figuring out how it works...
Anyway, right now I am addicted to a book. I have had it for a while, but never read it. It was in a box of books donated to the school. It was in the wrong age range, along with a bunch of others, so I got to take it. Its called "Tithe" and the author is Holly Black.
I was really unsure about it at first. I just really wanted something to read, so I picked it off my shelf. The first few chapters are really boring. However, once you get past that, you can't set the book down. Its about a girl who is a "modern nomad", as stated by the back cover. She has these friends that are fairies, and then she finds out that she is one and it leads to a really complicated adventure mixed with several love stories and a bunch of odd characters throw in the mix.
I am on page 209, and I see myself finishing it by the end of tomorrow. I think it would probably make a great movie, but it would require a lot of special effects. Apparently it is the first book of a series, so I plan on getting the other two books as soon as I can. There is a little cussing and some inuendos, so I don't reccomend this for a young child. I would say anyone from ages 13 and up would really enjoy the book. It is an easy read, and really interesting.
I really have nothing else to talk about right now.
I have some "forbidden knowledge". I overheard a conversation and found out some stuff. But it was second-hand and some of the information I had to draw conclusions in order to guestimate what it means. Still, no one else knows about the fact that I know, so I feel special.
But knowing this almost-fact makes me curious about some things and makes me anxious about others. Grf.
I am really hungry right now though, and there is a whole hour almost until lunch.
I didn't have drama practice yesterday, so I was excited about going home and doing stuff that I wanted to do. Then, my dad had a bunch of papers to grade. A BUNCH. So, I worked for an hour and a half to finish all of my economics homework for the week and work a little more on some scholarship applications. Then, I went and helped him grade papers. I am a really fast grader becauseI memorize most of the rubric, and within 30 miniutes the gradin was finished. We got home a little after 6:00, so I only had time to watch one episode of doctor who, do the dishes, eat, and check my e-mail before taking a shower and going to bed. And I have drama practice for two hours today and four hours tomorrow. But I get saturday off.
It is really hard for me to blog today because of the fact that this book is so good. I start a paragraph, then after I finish it, I sit and read a few more pages. This book is so delicious. Wait. Can you say that about a book? It is so delicious to read? Well, it makes sense in my head. Whatever.
K BYE!

F is for Frustration... and Fish.
I am sooooo frustrated right now. How hard could it be to find a decent picture of myself via the internet? I need to post to my college course, but the professor says I need to post a recent photo of myself. Well, if I weren't posting from a school computer, that would be easy.
School computers are not only dinosaurs, but they have restricted internet access. Therefore, I cannot get on facebook or instagram to retrieve a picture of myself. I would have done this yesterday at home, but I was only home for an hour before I had to go to drama practice and I didn't have time to do anything once I got back. I have figured out that if I search "lizardbreathwalker" on google, I can find tons of pictures from my instagram and the videos I have posted and my blog and stuff. However, I cannot find a certain picture of myself that I am looking for. I posted it on instagram a while back, and I think it is probably the most recent and most decent picture I have of myself. So... I have to wait until after drama practice today to do any work on my college stuff.
I am in aquatic science this year (yep, I'm being a lazy senior) and our class just recently ogt fish for our aquarium. They're little blue gouramis or something like that. They're rather distracting and interesting to watch. I am really interested in fish right now because I found out that I can have a fish as a pet when I go to college, which is totally going to happen. I'm not sure what type I want though. Definately not a beta fish. I hate those things. Maybe just a goldfish or something.
I really want to put more lifescouts badges up, but I can't understand how to re-blog things on tumblr and I can't upload images from the school computer for some reason. I want to find new badges thtat I have stories about too, but only one new one is posted per day. I think I might make it a competition with my brother. I'll have to wait until there are more badges though. Otherwise, he'll just declare it stupid and declare me stupid for participating.
Oh, I think I just figured out a way to upload through Picasa web albums. WHOoO!!!
There are some badges that I plan on being able to get within the next six months or so. Like, I'm supposed to go to an art museum sometime soon (Mona Lisa Badge) and I will be getting my drivers liscense this summer or something (Driving Badge). I'm wondering if I can put the guitar badge up since I know how to play the ukulele. It is basically a mini guitar. And I tried to learn to play the guitar once. There are no official rules or anything, so I guess I could.
WELL, I'm really hungry and I want to go look at the lifescouts stuff, so BYE!
Love,
Elizabeth W.

Life Scouts and Sociology
So, before I forget, I want to inform all of you that I now have a tumblr. I really didn't plan on having a tumblr at any point in time, but yesterday I was on Youtube, watching one of Alex Day's videos. He started this thing called "Life Scouts". Basically, it is a bunch of badges that you can collect when you do something significant that relates to it. Then, you re-blog the badges on your tumblr with a description of what exactly happened. Then, if you want, you can actually order physical versions of the badges online that you can have in real life to show others. Its like Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts, but there are less rules and qualifications, and you can be any age. I just feel like it will get me to be unafraid to do things. And, when I do things like that, I can have something as a reward for it. Like if they made a rollercoaster badge, I might actually go out and ride a rollercoaster. Anyway, the badges are on tumblr at lifescouts.com. Then, you can buy the actual badges at another website that I cannot remember now. My tumblr, which I may or may not ever get on is lizardbreathwalker.tumblr.com.
I think that I may begin posting my lifescouts badges here also. A new badge comes out every day, so I hope to get one posted soon. I'll probably put it on tumblr, and maybe on the blog. I'm actually kind of excited about this. I think it would be cool if he would let people submit badge ideas. That way there could be a badge for each instrument you play, instead of just the guitar badge. Or there could be a badge for being in a play, and it could have drama masks on it. There could be a badge for being in or making a movie and it could have a camera or a clapboard on it. I might take and have a count of how many badges I have on my Youtube channel or on here or something.
I think I'll probably mention the lifebadges in my 365 nerds video. If you haven't heard already, a group of Nerdfighters are starting this 365 Nerd project where 365 nerds will all post vlogs, on on each day of the year for 2013. I signed up and so did several of my friends. There are still some spots open, just search them on facebook or youtube to get links to the project. My video will be posted on the 29th of July, AKA my birthday. I've already started planning what I will do, but it is still some ways away.
My online sociology class started today, and I am super scared about it. The instructor seems very strict and serious, and on our introductory discussion post, we have to have a picture of ourselves, which seems rather wierd. I'm not sure that I want all of these random college people knowing what I look like... There is also supposed to be a group project and stuff, which I am scared about also, since the only means of communication is over the internet. And, when people do group projects, there are generally a few people who sit there and don't do anything while the others (like me) pick up the slack. Grrrr...
I have been working on several scholarship applications lately, and procrastinating about writing the essays for them, but I sat down and wrote like three of them this morning (100 word essays) and I feel pretty confident that they will work. I will probably get my mom (a reading teacher) to look at them before putting my official stamp of approval on them, but I'm glad that I am almost finished with the applications.
I did film a vlog this weekend as promised, but I appologize for not uploading it. I was lazy and didn't start editing it until last night. I will probably put it up sometime this week or maybe this weekend. I have drama practice almost every day, along with Economics homework and other stuff, so video making is at the bottom of the priorities list.
Well, goodbye for today. I'm going to go try to get on tumblr from the school's computer, which probably won't work.
Love,
Elizabeth W.

Random Facts About Me
So... I had this idea yesterday that I would make this blog post about random things that not many people know about me. None of them are super embarrassing. They might have been at one time, but I have since come to accept them as a part of who I am. I don't know why I'm doing this, I just felt like it would be an interesting idea. So... Here we go!
1. I am socially awkward and really quiet, unless I know you really well.
This makes me kind of scared. I was always a very quiet and shy child, but I am not as bad as I once was. Things like Drama and Choir have helped me to some extent. It scares me because I am striving to become someone that is well known and that you would recognize on the street. I just don't know how I will deal with meeting people, since I am really terrible at making conversation. I also am a very good listener, and listen even when I shouldn't so I have the tendency to randomly contribute bits to conversations that I am not a part of. Sometimes I don't even think about how wierd it must be for other people when I butt in. If I know you really well or have an interest in talking about something we have in common, I probably will be able to talk to you a little better. If I was sent on an errand or dread what our conversation might lead to, don't expect me to say much and don't expect me to be very loud. This is why I hate talking to school officials and such.
2. I don't know how to read time very well.
Seriously. I feel like such a dunce when it comes to this. It is like the fact that genius and retardation are so close to eachother on the smartness scale. I literally have come to dread reading time off of a normal clock. All of the clocks in my house are digital and I tend to buy watches that are digital. I never ask people what time it is, I just ask them how much time until whatever event I am concerned about. "How much time of lunch do we have left?" I use that one all the time. I just never got the hang of reading clocks when I was a child because we never went over it much when I was in school. I remember having maybe two lessons about it. So whenever I absolutely have to read a clock, I have to go through the mental process of "the big hand is the... minute hand because the word minute is longer than hour... It is in between these two numbers so this is the hour... The minute is this because... five, ten, fifteen, twenty... So the time all together is this!" When I used to wear a normal watch, people would ask me what time it was and I would just show them my wrist because otherwise it would take me at least 45 seconds, if not longer to figure it out and tell them. Okay, that was a little embarassing.
3. I don't go to libraries but I read a crazy amount of books.
This started a couple years ago because I turned a book in to the library drop box on the day it was due. Then, nobody checked the drop box for a couple of days, so I got charged a late fee of like 50 cents. I was outraged because I had technically turned it in on time, they were just lazy. So, I stopped checking books out from libraries. I simply buy the books or ask for them for my birthday or christmas. If I know someone has a copy of the book, I will just borrow it from them. I refused to do the same thing again and be charged another late fee. Not to mention, I never know what book to look for in a library so half the time I check out a book and only get a few chapters into it before realizing it was rubbish or I had read it before and was just wasting my time. At our school we have to go to the library on our own time too, so I have to sacrifice my precious lunch time to go. We only have 30 minutes for lunch, so its not worth it.
4. I live in the corner of the living room in my house.
We have a really small house right now, and there is only one bedroom. My living area is a corner of the living room. I have my bed, which is exactly in the corner. Then I have a shelf with my books and various tube where I keep things that I don't use everyday. Then I have posters and memorobilia covering the two wall sections around me. This is where I keep basically every thing of mine except for clothing. Therefore, in my house there is no "Go to your room" because I lack a room. I'm actually kind of lucky though, because I will be used to living in a cramped space when I go to college, and the dorm I plan to be in is actually bigger than my current living space and the sleeping/personal space has a door that seperates you from the rest of the living area. Whoooo college!
5. I am the jack of all trades when it comes to crafts.
I have been a craft fanatic since I was a small child. I have always loved to paint and draw and color and make things. I started scrapbooking when I was about ten. I have been making things from clay since I was in kindergarten. I know how to make my own paper, not that I do, but I know how. I know some origami. I got into ducttape creating about a year ago, so I have quite a duct tape collection. I know how to sew something with or without a pattern and make it work. I can make my own jewelry, and have sold it on occasion. I modify my own t-shirts. I can screen print shirts and such. I watercolor paint cartoons and other artsy stuff. I made a paper mache piggy bank once, but someone fell on it and it caved in. I learn new stuff all the time, so there really is nothing I can't do.
6. I am and have always been (mostly) an A student.
It was never something that was forced or anything, it just happened. I started school making good grades and I held myself to a high standard of keeping those grades high. My parents never really punished me if I made a B or anything, I just felt like I had failed and tried to do better. I have never failed a class and I don't plan to. For me, a B feels like being mediocre and a C feels like failing. This might change when I go to college, but not much.
7. I am a speed reader.
I read books and things really fast. I can read a page in a minute that would take a normal person five minutes or more. I just can gather in the information really quickly. If the text is something that I really don't care about, the meaning seems to slip away rather quickly, or I might have to read it multiple times to fully absorb it. But, if its a novel that I am reading or an interesting story, I can read it and retain the information really fast.
Well, that is about all I can think of for right now. I might do this again later when I think of more things to say that are interesting. Oh, and I plan on making a video this weekend if I get the chance. Hopefully I get the chance.
K. Love ya. Bye.

An Awesome book
Okay, so I have found a cause more worthy of sharing than myself. Just go to www.veryawesomeworld.com and read the book online with someone you love. Then buy the book or share it with other people.
CALLING ALL READERS!
I know that the time that my blog will be flooded with posts is almost upon us. (Seriously, I go back to school the day after tomorrow!) This means that more people will be looking at the blog than have been here recently. I would like to challenge you all to a quest.
Here's the deal. I have worked really hard on the videos that I have uploaded to youtube. All of them are rather entertaining and I would love for you all to go and watch them. But don't just watch them, then go on with your life! Do something with them!
I challenge you to share at least one of my videos to Facebook or Twitter or your blog or whatever. Whichever on you like. Pick your favorite...
Then, for those of you who have YouTube channels, I request that you be so kind as to subscribe. I have been on YouTube for almost four years now. That is crazy. Crazy for me to think about. Crazy for you to know. I have posted over 100 videos. I have gotten better and better since the beginning. And I plan to get better and better as the days go by.
However, I only have 9 subscribers at the moment. I love those 9 subscribers to death, but I know that I have more fans out there. I just think it would be nice to know who they are. If you like, I can subscribe back or look at some of your videos in return. Just ask.
I don't mean to sound fame-obsessed or uncaring, I just think it would be nice. Its your life, do what you want.
Love always,
Elizabeth W.

Laziness...
I have been rather lazy the last few days. I have gotten things done in my laziness, but I was lazy nonetheless.
I started editing the "Zombie" music video using PowerDirector on Christmas. We didn't have as many places to go as we normally do, so I had some free time. I worked on it yesterday and today also, so I am about half way done. I thought I was more than 3/4 done, but it turns out I had somehow been missing part of the audio track, so I went back and re-downloaded it and I am half way done.
I love PowerDirector as far as the editing aspect. There are so many different things you can do to make a video look how you want it to look. However, I wish it had better titles and credits. It only has like four title options and none for credits. I think I'll just finish the video, then bring it into movie maker to add in the title and credits.
I also plan on having a video commentary explaining different parts. Basically, I'll turn on my webcam and film my comments and reactions as I watch the finished video.
I have started writing a book. My brother is really bad at setting up things like the Xbox and Wii and DVD player, so I am making a short book for him. That way, when I go off to college, I know he will be able to do these things himself. I have about nine pages so far in Microsoft Word. Of course, that includes the title page and table of contents, and a lot of the book is just a skeleton outline so far.
I have started on this thing called a "smash book" that I got for christmas. Basically, it is a scrapbook of messiness and random stuff. It doesn't have to be perfect, and you can record whatever you want in it. I plan to post some pictures of it on here soon. It is not something that you just sit down and do, then be finished with. It is an ongoing project to help you keep up with your memories.
My grandpa got me a caligraphy set for Christmas. I think its rather cool, but it will require some practice to get good at it. I guess I'll use it to write a letter to him someday or something like that.
We have a fancy one-cup-at-a-time coffee maker now. It makes really good coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. It should make it easier and faster to make coffee on school mornings too. My mom said there is a chance I might get one of my own when I go off to college. That would be amazing.
Well, I'm going to go get some food or coffee or something. Goodbye for today!

Elizabeth W.

100th Post Fanfiction!
*Please not that this whole story is fictional. I have never met the band FF5 or Isaac Dietz or anyone associated with them, although I would love to someday. I do plan on dying my hair red this summer, though.*
I sat nervously at the computer. Should I click send? Would it work? So much thought and work had led up to this point. Finally, after reading over it a fifth time, I sent the e-mail. Now all that was left to do was wait.
A few minutes later, we returned to the warehouse. A wave of "wow"s and "oooh"s went around the room. I thanked Crouton for his help, then headed to help Isaac. Two small children attacked me before I could reach my destination. I was knocked to the ground immediately, since such an attack was unexpected. Well, at least I knew John and Cash were getting along well. "Sissy, can I have my DS?" John asked several times before quieting. "I want to show Cash my game." I ruffled the hair on their heads and crawled out from underneath the two children. These wild little boys were too much alike. I told him that my mom had it and they ran off once again. The next time I looked over, my mom was chatting with Solomon's wife and John and Cash were seated on the floor nearby, chattering away as they took turns playing the game.
When I reached the grouping of cameras and lights, Isaac explained to me that one of their really important backers had contacted them just a few minutes earlier to say that they couldn't make it. "Would you take her place?" he asked. "Sure," I said, happy that I would play a significant role in the video, but feeling bad that a person had paid money and then lost the ability to come and participate. "You know the basic video idea, right?" he questioned. I nodded my head. I had read and watched everything available about the making of the "Chainsaw" music video. "Well," he said, "the backer that was supposed to do the chipmunk "Chainsaw" part called a little while ago and won't be able to make it due to a family obligation. Its really simple and we'll tell you what to do. First, though, you need to go to costume and makeup to get your 'lumberjack' gear. After that, we'll shoot the video, since the rest of the backers are starting to arrive."
In the costume/makeup room, I found all 5 band members, finishing up preparations for the video. "Whats up Lizardbreath?" Soul Glow asked. "Nothing much," I answered. "One of the backers cancelled, so I'm filling in." Crouton ran over to a clothing rack and retrieved a red and black plaid button-up shirt, a pair of white skinny jeans, and a tank top bearing the word "Chainsaw" in big red letters, then held them out to me. "Here, you'll need to put these on." I stepped behind the floor-length curtain that I was directed to and found myself in a small room bearing nothing but a mirror on the wall. As I removed the pair of white skinny jeans from the hanger, I noticed the letters "SGA" written on the tag in faded Sharpie marker. Of course. the original backer was probably going to bring their own white skinnies, or else would wear a much different size than me. I didn't have white skinnies, but they were necessary for the video, so Jacob grabbed a pair that would come closest to fitting.
When I emerged from the little room a few minutes later, I was surprised to find Soli was the only one there. Before I could react or say anything, he shoved a hat on my head. "There," he said, obviously satisfied with is costume modification. "Now, its cray." I could imagine that Crouton would have a fit as soon as he saw what Solomon had changed with the costume. I looked over at the full length mirror on the opposite wall and mentally agreed with Solomon. It was a rather awesome hat, and it made the outfit complete. I made a silent wish to be able to keep the costume once the shoot was over with. Then, after three seconds of eye contact agreement, we turned and headed out to film.
The filming was done in just a few hours. By lunch, we were done and all of the other backers had left. My mother, brother, and I, along with the band and crew members, invaded a nearby Subway for lunch. Mom and Soli's wife sat at a table with John and Cash. Apparently they all hit it off pretty well. I was just glad to have them all out of my hair for a little while. Isaac was sitting with the band, so I joined them once I got my food. In between bite, I was forced to explain every detail of my life, including my plans for the future. I had just graduated high school, so I was extremely used to answering these questions.
"You got any plans for the rest of the summer?" Isaac asked. "Not really," I replied. "I don't plan on taking any summer classes, and I have no need to get a summer job. Not yet anyway." Suddenly, Solomon's face lit up. He looked at Isaac, then back at me, then back at Isaac. "Tub-o! She should come on tour with us!" he exclaimed. Isaac started to protest, but was cut off. "You said yourself that Intern won't be able to come with us this summer. Lizardbreath could come and help out with the filming and merch!" I was beginning to think that Lizardbreath would turn out to be my "gangsta name" if I ever got one, since that was what I kept getting called. The other guys chimed in with their statements of agreement. "Guys!" Isaac practically shouted. "We leave for tour as soon as we finish the shoot. I'm all for Elizabeth coming along, but she probably doesn't have everything she needs." "Actually, I probably do," I stated. "I have at least a week's worth of clothing and pretty much all my necessities back at the hotel. I even have my ukulele and laptop." There was a moment of silence as they pondered my statement. Then Nathan (AKA: Nadaddy) broke the silence, "You think you're up for it?" "As long as you can convince my parents to let me go," I said with a chuckle. I could barely believe what was happening to me. Wait until I told Sarah how I would be spending my summer.
After nearly an hour on the phone with my dad and a brief conversation with my mother (my dad has always been the overprotective one), Isaac and the band had managed to get permission to steal me for the summer and drag me across the country at their will. At the hotel that night, my mom asked me if I had planned this whole thing. "No," I replied. "This was totally their idea."

Hi Isaac!
You don't know me, but my name is Elizabeth. I am an amateur film maker and a senior in high school. I really adore your work with Family Force 5's music videos, Really Real Shows, and documentaries. I know that you and FF5 will be shooting a music video on June 14th and 15th of 2013, and I plan to attend and participate. As a film maker myself, I am always trying to improve upon my work, but I have never gotten the chance to work on a professional set. I am not requesting that you give me a job. Would you possibly allow me to help out as almost an unpaid intern or something of that nature? I just want to get experience in the film industry before I go off to college.

Elizabeth,
Its nice to see a young person like you taking the initiative. I'm not sure if unpaid intern is the correct term, but we can certainly find something for you to do. Go ahead and buy your tickets, then meet me at the sign-in desk about two hours before the official sign in time. We're looking forward to working with you!
Your friend,
Isaac
Before I tell you what exactly happened when I read that e-mail, let me inform you that I do not react normally when something exciting happens. I rarely jump up and down and scream, like most other teenage girls. However, that is very close to what happened. Astonished, I stood up ad backed away from the computer, mouth open, in awe. "Mom!" I called into the other room. "What?" she said, coming over to the computer. "Can you read this e-mail," I requested. Unsure, she sat and began reading. By this time, I was smiling uncontrollably. "Well," she said, "we better buy those tickets before they're sold out." As I danced joyfully around the room and updated my Facebook status, my mother purchased the tickets: enough for me, her, and my 6-year-old brother, John, who was also a fan of Family Force 5. James, my other brother, disliked anything that I liked and my dad was a fuddy-duddy. The three fun people of the family were going to have a great time.
Over the weeks before the event, I talked the thing up with John. I do the same with any exciting thing that happens to me. This last year, I kept talking with him about dying my hair red at the beginning of summer. Basically, it keeps him occupied, keeps me excited, and gives me someone to talk with who won't get annoyed with me. My mom is always unsure of things like that. Personally, I couldn't wait to dye my hair red, even though it would take a great leap of faith.
The night before we left, it seemed to take forever to get to sleep. Everything was packed. I made sure that I had enough clothes and then some. I packed all kinds of things to entertain myself and my brother on the four hour trip across the state. Since we would be staying the night at a hotel, I had brought pretty much all of the necessities for my hair and whatnot. I could not wait.
At 6:00 in the morning, our car rolled into the set parking lot. My mother gestured for me to go into the large building to the right as she carefully removed my sleeping brother from the backseat. Not wanting to seem nervous or awkward, despite the fact that no one was watching, I briskly walked to the building. Just as I was reaching for the door handle, the door swung open , knocking me out of the way. A hand reached down to help me up and a familiar voice uttered "Oh, I'm sorry!" Soon, I found myself face-to-face with the golden-haired guitarist, Derek Mount, AKA: Chapstique. "No, its okay," I reassured him, trying not to act like an obsessed fangirl. "The shoot doesn't start for, like, two hours," he said. "Why exactly are you here?" Still in stock at how awesome it was to meet him in person, I managed to stutter, "Umm... I talked with Isaac... I'm, umm... supposed to help with the video." His face lit up in recognition, "Oh! You must be Lizardbreath... err... Elizabeth! Isaac and the rest of the guys are inside. You might want to go find him and let him know you're here." "Thanks," I replied as we parted ways.
Inside the dark warehouse, I saw the registration table set up. What seemed like a football field away, there was a setup of various lights and cameras. About ten people were scattered throughout the area, each working to accomplish a different task. Even so far away, I could hear Isaac shouting out orders. Knowing that he probably didn't notice me come in, I made my way across the warehouse to where they were. It didn't take long to be noticed after I got within seeing distance for the band members. Of course, the first one to notice me was Jacob, the one known as Crouton. Of course, how could I not be noticed by the one who pays the most attention to hair and clothing?
"Hey guys, look!" he shouted. "Its Lizardbreath!" Suddenly, I was surrounded by four rambuncious musicians. I heard shouts of "Nice to meet you" mixed with "I love your hair" and "Awesome shoes". Finally, they backed off enough that I could get my bearings on the situation. This was not the reaction I was expecting. I felt an arm around my shoulder. Solomon. Soul Glow Activatur. I was surprised at how short he was. We were pretty much the same height, and the other guys were like giants in comparison. "Well, you probably already know," he said, " but I am Soul Glow Activatur, and this is..." He started to introduce the others, but I cut him off. "Nadaddy, Crouton, Fatty, and outside is Chapstique." Then I gestured to the mob of people over by the cameras. "Over there is Tub-o, Xanadu, and Quaigon. If I see a small child running around, I can assume that is Cash." "Well done," said Nadaddy. I could tell Isaac was still preoccupied with the lights and cameras, things I knew very little about. I figured I might as well get to know the guys while I had the chance.
"First of all," I said, "I have a question for you all. How do you know who I am?" I was honestly curious. They all recognized me immediately. "We looked you up on YouTube," Solomon replied simply. "More like they all looked over my shoulder while I looked at your videos. You sent a link in your e-mail," Isaac said, finally joining us. "Oh, I forgot about that," I said. "I thought they were really great for what you have been working with," Isaac commented, " I said you could come because I saw potential. That, and Crouton wanted to see your red hair in person." "Thanks for keeping my secrets, Tub-o," Crouton exclaimed, obviously embarrassed. "Its okay," I said, "I couldn't figure out what to do with my hair this morning, so I threw it up in a ponytail..." Before I could finish my though, Crouton was practically in my face, shouting," Can I do your hair?" "Sure," I said, a little surprised at how quickly he had volunteered. That was what I had planned on asking, but I was fine with him asking me first.
We met my mom and little brother on the way out of the building. "Where are you going?" She asked. "I'm going to style her hair," Crouton answered for me. My mom just shook her head and kept walking.
The tour bus was pretty much as I had expected it to be. I had seen the videos online, so the setup was familiar, though I never expected to see it in real life. He instructed me to sit at one of the tables in the living area, then ran off toward the bunks. At that moment, Chapstique emerged, his hair freshly styled. He had obviously returned to the bus just to fix his perfect hair. A little confused, he asked, " What are you doing here?" "She is my new hair model," Crouton said, emerging again with various hair styling tools in tow. He immediately plugged in an expensive-looking flat iron. I removed the ponytail holder from my hair and put it on my wrist. "Well, see you later, Lizardbreath," Chapstique said, ruffling my hair before exiting the bus. As he set to work on my hair, Crouton asked, " I've been meaning to ask you, where did you get your shirt?" "I made it," I replied. "I do my own screen printing and modifications." "Oh, so kinda like Crouton's Cuts," he said. "Yeah," I replied, "but more people are fans of Crouton than Lizardbreath, so I just make them for myself and my friends." "Well, I'm your friend. Can you make me a few?" "Absolutely," I replied giggling.
This is the end of part one. Part two will be posted at a later date... Maybe. Thank you for reading and be sure to come back soon.

Storyboards are fun!
338... Yep, you all have overcome the 300 view mark. Now, onward to 500. FOR NARNIA!!! But, seriously, thanks to you all for doing this, I can't say how amazing it is to feel popular for once. Okay, that was kinda cheezy, but thats okay.
This is the last tuesday of 2012 that I have to go to school. I have exams tommorow and the next day, but I only really have one exam to take. AP Government. Gross. Having to take government is hard enough, but makingit AP is like kicking someone while they're down. Shooting a dead horse. Burning a demolished building. Torturing a dead man. Adding insult to injury. I really am not looking foreward to the two AP tests I will take at the end of next semester.
But, because I only have one exam to take, I get to have free time in most of my other classes! Whooooo! And what shall I spend that free time doing?
Every time I go to storyboard things, I think of two people: Tessa Violet and Isaac Dietz. Tessa because she, nanalew, and some guy from australia or something are making a kind of mini-series and posted a bunch of stuff about it and storyboarding it on youtube. Of course, their storyboarding involves post-it notes on a corkboard. My storyboarding involves drawing four boxes on each page of my notebook and drawing a picture in them, then explaining it with text on the right side of the page. It reminds me of Isaac Dietx because I have watched the video he posted of him explaining the treatment for the official Zombie music video. He has the song playing and he is running around this little room, explaining what should be happening at that point in the song. I found it rather entertaining. In the video, theres a little part in the corner that shows what the actual video looks like at that point in the music, and you can compare it to what he is explaining.
Right now, I am storyboarding a music video for Deathbed by Relient K right now. I have only worked on it today and yesterday and I already have 6 pages with four lyric segments on each page. I storyboard by lyric segments because it helps me set the video in my head with the timing of the music, and I am able to storyboard even when I don't have the music playing. I just know the lyrics and how the song goes. It also allows me to go back to the beginning and play in my mind what the whole thing would look like. The thing is, Deathbed is like a 10 minute song, and I'm only about 1 or 2 minutes into it on the storyboard. This should last me through the holidays.
I like storyboarding because it allows me to get the messages across that might be hard to explain otherwise. I can also jot down my music video ideas and have people look at them even when I have the inability to make the music video or show an already made music video to them. I think the next storyboard I'll do may be a skit or something. I've never storyboarded a skit. I can't wait until I go off to college so that I can actually have a large space to use to storyboard with post-it notes and stuff. I could use an entire wall in my dorm room and storyboard whatever I wanted to. I will have to invest in some sticky notes though. Christmas presents and graduation presents anyone?
I think I actually have a picture of the Zombie storyboard on my instagram. Feel free to stalk me on instagram, because I probably won't get a twitter anytime soon. You can watch the pictures I post and figure out what my day-to-day life is like. And I won't spam your feed. @lizardbreathwalker
Well, I want to go back to storyboarding, because I find it rather entertaining and fun.

STORYBOARDING!!!!!!
Storyboarding is something that I love to do. I have never done it for a film, but I have done it for a few (2) music videos. I did it for the Zombie video that I filmed in October. Note, the video did change some in going from storyboard to actual video, but the main concept stayed the same. Some things have to change, thats just the crative process.Every time I go to storyboard things, I think of two people: Tessa Violet and Isaac Dietz. Things That Have Been On My Mind...
I have been doing a lot of thinking recently. This post is deticated to the things I have been thinking about.
Prom
I really don't know what to expect for prom this year. Our school lets you go to prom both your junior and senior year. Last year was fun. I actually was the one who asked someone to be my date. He said yes, but we weren't dating, so it was a little awkward. This year, I can't think of anyone that I would like to go with. Everyone that I can think of would never think about asking me and I would be too afraid to ask myself. I know that I will go, that thing is for sure. I love dancing and dressing up too much not to go. I just think I might be going alone this year. This saddens me...
College
I am very scared about college. I applied to two colleges and I am number four in my class, therefore, I should have been automatically accepted. I haven't gotten any letters or anything yet. I can't check online because I can't figure out the login information and there is no way to reset it. I am very stressed about it. I wish they would just send me a letter and get it over with. I sent everything in way before the deadlines. And I did it electronically, that way it would get through faster. But, I do have a last name that starts with a W. I may have been pushed to the end of the line just for that reason. Maybe. I don't know that much about how college works.
Homework
I have been working nonstop it seems like on homework. This last week, one of my teachers decided to assign a last minute project, due on thursday. So, I have to write, translate, film, and produce a spanish Christmas commercial before Thursday. And I have no DVDs because my parents decided that they needed them for school. Wish me luck on finishing that.
Family Force 5
I find that Family Force 5 music is very much becoming the soundtrack to my life. Nearly every time that I put my headphones on, that it who I am listening to. I love listening to their music while I drive. In fact, it makes me calmer and makes me drive better. I can't wait for them to make another music video or come on tour in my area.
Music Videos
I have been brainstorming a lot of music videos lately. I have a couple ideas for songs and stuff. I think I could make a really fitting one for "Deathbed" by Relient K. The song seems really sad at first, but it really is a good song with upbeat parts and tells a story of hope. I'm trying to learn the words and the ukulele chords and get my brother to learn the piano part. I got him to listen to the song for the first time last night and he said that he really liked it. I also have an idea for "Drama Queen" by FF5 and have had the idea for a long time for "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry and "Raise Your Glass" by Pink. I think I just need to start making storyboards again. The music video for "Zombie" by FF5 is what I plan on working on next, however. I plan on using a demo of PowerDirector 10 during the Christmas break to do some amazing things with it. Look for the video some time in January.
Christmas Songs
I have learned a bunch of Christmas songs on the Ukulele and everyday I am learning more. I plan to put some videos of them on youtube before Christmas, and my brother and I plan on playing them at every Christmas gathering we go to. Maybe we'll upload some live recordings from cell phones on Christmas.
Cover Videos
I have found so many songs that I want to do covers of. Deathbed by relient k is one of them, but it is a really long song with a lot of lyrics to learn. Many songs that I like are impossible to find chords to online. I search and just when I think I've found them I'll come to a page that says "access denied" or "page not found". Then I post on yahoo answers and they just tell me to look in the places that I've already looked. Either way, I will have some new cover videos out within a week or so.
Documentaries
I think it would be really cool to make a Christmas documentary like I've discussed in previous posts, but I think I might wait until next year to do it. That way, I will have a little more prep time and I can get it out before Christmas. I will also be able to interview more people because I will be in college. I should have some better editing software by then too.
FanFiction Update
We have reached 314 views this month, but, if you haven't gotten the hint, I would love to get 500 views before the end of this week. I will post the fanfic at 500 views, so get to work telling your friends to look at the blog and subscribe to blog and youtube updates. Just so you know, that means that you have easier access to blog posts and youtube videos. But, to thank you for making it this far, I will post another small section of the fanfic for your enjoyment.
About ten or so people were scattered throughout the area, each working to accomplish a different task. Even so far away, I could hear Isaac shouting orders. Knowing that he probably didn't notice me come in, I made my way accross the warehouse to where they were. It didn't take long to be notice after I got within seeing distance of the band members. Of course, the first one to notice me was Jacob, AKA Crouton. Of course, how could I not be noticed by the one who pays the most attention to hair and clothing? "Hey guys, look!" he shouted," Its Lizardbreath!" Suddenly, I was surrounded by a mob of rambuncious musicians.
Well, thats all you get for today. I can't really think of anything else to write about.

Scarred for life... Maybe
This morning, I had an embarrassing experience that I think might have scarred me for life. I certainly won't forget it anytime soon, nonetheless. I was just sitting at a table during breakfast time at school, minding my own business. Suddenly, one of my friends appears and starts up a conversation. We discuss various things, such as why we are tired, how much sleep we have lost, and dreams we have had recently. Then, as I was explaining a dream that I had the other day, a person who had joined us at the table commented that a word that I had used could be interpreted to mean something sexual. Then, my friend joined in and stated that I could very well be meaning these rude and perverted things. Then, they laughed at me, despite my refusals that I did NOT mean such things. Finally, I got up and stated that I was going to FCA, since the time had just come, and promptly left the table, clinging to what was left of my dignity.
I find that things like this are occurring more often. These are more than just bathroom jokes, they are rude, perverted comments that really bother me. Why does the world have to be so uncivilized?!?! I shouldn't have to re-think everything that I am going to say so that people don't make perverted jokes out of my statements.
On a much happier note, FCA was very enjoyable this morning. My friend, Shelby, who teaches FCA every other week, taught the lesson this morning. Then, our sponsor brought up the fact that people wanted to do a Christmas food drive. All I can say is that God's timing is absolutely perfect.
I had planned on doing a toy drive type thing through FCA for the Christmas gifts that our church does for underprivileged Navajo children in New Mexico. However, I was told by the person that organizes said operation that this year there would be no need to collect via the school due to time constraints and whatnot. I had just discussed this with Shelby before FCA began, and we were wondering what kind of drive we could do to get people involved in helping others around Christmas time. Then, as if answering a prayer, our sponsor brought up the food drive idea.
I have no real specifics yet as far as deadlines. All I can say is that (for those who go to the same school) we will be collecting the food most likely during second period and there will probably be a prize for the class who collects the most. This should start next week some time.
I think that people aren't always creative enough when they donate food for food drives. Yes, the food needs to be non-perishable, but it doesn't ALL have to be canned corn. Think of things that you yourself might eat.
Corn
Beans
Peas
Fruit
Ramen noodles
chili
soup
all of thees things would be perfect. Remember that just because people don't have the ability to purchase food for themselves doesn't mean that they don't have taste buds. Buy for them as if you were buying for yourself or a friend. True, the other things are good to give, but don't limit yourself. Personally, I plan to dig into my personal stock of ramen noodles in order to donate. Nonetheless, give from your heart, and may the odds be ever in your class's favor.
I think I've figured out my problem of spiritual lackingness. I think I have simply been relying too heavily on the leadership of other people in my faith. Humans make mistakes and get distracted. I need to focus less on the human factor and more on the God factor. Pastors and Sunday School Teachers are just people, and people make mistakes. God, however, does everything for a reason, and does it with perfect timing. I need to focus more on the master of creation than the creation itself. He has obviously put me here for a purpose, I just need to find it and work with it. I now that I will never see the big picture as to what God plans for me, but I can at least take what I have and do something with it.
God created me as a teacher and a person whose heart breaks for children and those in need. In which case, it is time for me to further my actions in these areas of ministry. I teach in FCA and I volunteer in Children's Church every few Sundays, but I need to be doing more, it seems. I have a dream of using my talents to touch the lives of people around the world. I think film making might be the road that God is leading me down in order to accomplish this. I think I want to start showing God through the videos I put on YouTube, I'm just not sure how yet. I know this is an important part of my spiritual journey, a kind of discovering who I am and how God wants to use me. I just have to start by letting him use me.
