A lot has happened since the last time I blogged, so I'll start with Friday.
On Friday, we went to One Act Pay competition. We performed and did amazing. Our school is advancing to the next round for the first time since 2007. I got the award "Honorable Mention All-Star Cast". We preform for the school on Tuesday and Thursday of this week, and our Area competition is on April 11. I can't believe that we made it!
On Saturday, it was my brother's birthday. I got up early and did some online homework, then we all packed up and went to the mall. On the way there, we made a music video/montage that I'm going to edit together and put on my channel. He got to go to different stores and pick out his birthday gifts. I managed to get my mother to buy me a pair of pink skinny jeans though, so I got stuff too. Then we ate lunch at the food court. I had chick-fil-a, which was rather delicious. When we got home, I spent time reading and playing the ukulele. My mom and I baked a cake for my brother. It was a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake, and it was awesome. We were supposed to use a spring-form pan, so that we could make it, then take the sides off and it would be pretty. But, we couldn't find one, so we just made it in a pan, then put it on a plate. It was one of our first pinterest recipes. I watched my brother play one of his new games, The Walking Dead, also. One of the gifts that he got was a thing to make videos out of videogame play, so he will have his videogame channel up and running soon.
On Sunday, we got up and went to church. Then, we went out and ate mexican food, which was lovely. I had a delicious Torta, my favourite mexican sandwich. We went to Walmart and got some stuff. I found this soap/lotion dispenser that is a mickey mouse head that was on sale, and my mom let me get it so that I can put it with my "Stuff to take to college". When we got home, we played some ukulele, and then I put on some music and began cleaning my room-ish area in the corner of the living room. I managed to start a box for my "Stuff to take to college", and I have a significant amount of stuff already. Mainly lotion and soaps and stuff, but stuff nonetheless. Then I spent the rest of the night printing out scholarship applications, since I felt bad that I had missed the deadline for one of the big ones.
And, I think that is about all you need to know. I have to turn in my permission slip for the talent show today, but I have no clue who to turn it in to. I don't know where the sponsor teacher is during the day. I guess I'll take it to the office during lunch. I began going through my AP Government flashcards today, so maybe I'll be ready when the test comes. So far, I haven't found anything in them that seems relavent. I think I have the economics test in the bag though. I'm good at economics.
I finished reading the book "Room" this weekend also. I started the other book, "The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight" this morning, and it seems pretty good, but not as good as "Room". I have done quite a bit of scholarship filling out and smash book-ing this morning also. I had coffee, so I just have to keep doing things.
Love,
Elizabeth W.

Things That Have Been On My Mind...
I have been doing a lot of thinking recently. This post is deticated to the things I have been thinking about.
Prom
I really don't know what to expect for prom this year. Our school lets you go to prom both your junior and senior year. Last year was fun. I actually was the one who asked someone to be my date. He said yes, but we weren't dating, so it was a little awkward. This year, I can't think of anyone that I would like to go with. Everyone that I can think of would never think about asking me and I would be too afraid to ask myself. I know that I will go, that thing is for sure. I love dancing and dressing up too much not to go. I just think I might be going alone this year. This saddens me...
College
I am very scared about college. I applied to two colleges and I am number four in my class, therefore, I should have been automatically accepted. I haven't gotten any letters or anything yet. I can't check online because I can't figure out the login information and there is no way to reset it. I am very stressed about it. I wish they would just send me a letter and get it over with. I sent everything in way before the deadlines. And I did it electronically, that way it would get through faster. But, I do have a last name that starts with a W. I may have been pushed to the end of the line just for that reason. Maybe. I don't know that much about how college works.
Homework
I have been working nonstop it seems like on homework. This last week, one of my teachers decided to assign a last minute project, due on thursday. So, I have to write, translate, film, and produce a spanish Christmas commercial before Thursday. And I have no DVDs because my parents decided that they needed them for school. Wish me luck on finishing that.
Family Force 5
I find that Family Force 5 music is very much becoming the soundtrack to my life. Nearly every time that I put my headphones on, that it who I am listening to. I love listening to their music while I drive. In fact, it makes me calmer and makes me drive better. I can't wait for them to make another music video or come on tour in my area.
Music Videos
I have been brainstorming a lot of music videos lately. I have a couple ideas for songs and stuff. I think I could make a really fitting one for "Deathbed" by Relient K. The song seems really sad at first, but it really is a good song with upbeat parts and tells a story of hope. I'm trying to learn the words and the ukulele chords and get my brother to learn the piano part. I got him to listen to the song for the first time last night and he said that he really liked it. I also have an idea for "Drama Queen" by FF5 and have had the idea for a long time for "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry and "Raise Your Glass" by Pink. I think I just need to start making storyboards again. The music video for "Zombie" by FF5 is what I plan on working on next, however. I plan on using a demo of PowerDirector 10 during the Christmas break to do some amazing things with it. Look for the video some time in January.
Christmas Songs
I have learned a bunch of Christmas songs on the Ukulele and everyday I am learning more. I plan to put some videos of them on youtube before Christmas, and my brother and I plan on playing them at every Christmas gathering we go to. Maybe we'll upload some live recordings from cell phones on Christmas.
Cover Videos
I have found so many songs that I want to do covers of. Deathbed by relient k is one of them, but it is a really long song with a lot of lyrics to learn. Many songs that I like are impossible to find chords to online. I search and just when I think I've found them I'll come to a page that says "access denied" or "page not found". Then I post on yahoo answers and they just tell me to look in the places that I've already looked. Either way, I will have some new cover videos out within a week or so.
Documentaries
I think it would be really cool to make a Christmas documentary like I've discussed in previous posts, but I think I might wait until next year to do it. That way, I will have a little more prep time and I can get it out before Christmas. I will also be able to interview more people because I will be in college. I should have some better editing software by then too.
FanFiction Update
We have reached 314 views this month, but, if you haven't gotten the hint, I would love to get 500 views before the end of this week. I will post the fanfic at 500 views, so get to work telling your friends to look at the blog and subscribe to blog and youtube updates. Just so you know, that means that you have easier access to blog posts and youtube videos. But, to thank you for making it this far, I will post another small section of the fanfic for your enjoyment.
About ten or so people were scattered throughout the area, each working to accomplish a different task. Even so far away, I could hear Isaac shouting orders. Knowing that he probably didn't notice me come in, I made my way accross the warehouse to where they were. It didn't take long to be notice after I got within seeing distance of the band members. Of course, the first one to notice me was Jacob, AKA Crouton. Of course, how could I not be noticed by the one who pays the most attention to hair and clothing? "Hey guys, look!" he shouted," Its Lizardbreath!" Suddenly, I was surrounded by a mob of rambuncious musicians.
Well, thats all you get for today. I can't really think of anything else to write about.

Working Working Working...
I am working toward all kinds of goals right now. Today, I failed on one. Yesterday I came one step closer to completing another. Life is just wierd.
I taught a lesson in FCA today. However, I thought it was absolutely horrible. I wanted to do the message of salvation, but there were no non-christians there that I knew of. In fact, there were very few people there at all. So, I tried to transform the lesson into more of a how-to-share-the-gospel type of message. It really stunk. I mean, there were a few points that were really good. However, I don't feel that it was one of my better lessons. Then, the bell rang and I had to awkwardly cut my ukulele thing short. I guess I'll have to make up for it week after next. I plan to do a Christmas lesson.
The main reason this lesson was so terrible was that I didn't have any inspiration to use. The sermons at church were just really dry. There was nothing inspirational or interesting that could lead me to a lesson. But next time I won't rely on church. I want to tell the Christmas story and expand upon it. Tell how we can apply it to our lives. I have two weeks to get it together. Pray that it goes well.
The goal that I started working toward yesterday was making my first screen printed shirt. It has a quote from one of my very first videos. It will say in big black letters:
SECRET
BRITISH
COWBOY
GANGSTA
I think that it will turn out quite well. I haven't finished making the design on the screen though. I drew it out with pencil. I painted the drawing fluid on the screen. Today I have to squeegee the filling fluid in. Depending on how long it takes to dry, I may be able to wash off the drawing fluid either today or tommorrow. As soon as that is done, I can start making the shirts. By the way, if you want one, contact me. I want to make however many of this kind I need before I wash off the design and screenprint something else.
If you have any ideas for a shirt or would like a specialty one printed, simply tell me. You can e-mail me or facebook me or talk to me in person or text me. However, talking to me in person, on facebook, or by text are the most reliable means. I don't check my e-mail as often as I should. I will probably charge about fifteen dollars for a shirt right now. If you bring me the tshirt that you want me to print it on instead of making me use one that I have to buy, I'll only charge ten. I might work you out a discount somehow, since it is the holidays. And, if you help me screen print it AND supply the tshirt I will only charge you five dollars. You can buy the shirts for yourself or people on your Christmas list.
ACT NOW! THIS OFFER WON'T LAST FOREVER!
I think I may use this particular design as a Christmas gift for several people. Its cheaper and easier than trying to think up something special. And, I did make it myself.
I have lots of Christmas stuff coming up that I have to do. I have a Christmas house tour thing to do with my mom either today or tomorrow. Then, on Friday, I have a Christmas type party to go to with some of my friends from church. Then, I might go to another party on saturday. Maybe. It depends. I'm just feeling the Christmas spirit right now. Learning Christmas songs on the Ukulele. Hearing them on the radio. Making and buying gifts for people. Getting gifts. Going to parties. But Ramses is not dancing, he does not dance at the party.... Sorry, that popped into my head.
Well, wish me good luck. I have a spanish test today. I also have a Government test tomorrow. Whoooo.
Love,
Elizabeth W.
