Yesterday, I went shopping with my mom. We left the house at about 5:00 or so, and we didn't get back until 10:30 or so, so I didn't get to bed until roughly 11:00 or later. Needless to say, I am really tired. I almost fell asleep during a lecture in aquatic science AND while I was reading a book in economics.
The first thing that my mom and I did was go and order a boutineer. I really don't care if thats spelled wrong. My hands don't want to type today anyway. We went to one flower shop, but before we pulled into the parking lot they closed. So, we went to the other florist in town, and got there 30 minutes before closing. It ended up being the place that my date had ordered the corsage from, so they looked up his order and made sure that the color was right, and we got them to make the two items match.
The second thing that we did was go to a place called Sam Moon. Its almost like an outlet for jewelry and purses and such. I got my purse for prom. Its a really tiny silver one with sparkles all over it. I already have jewelry for prom, so I didn't have to worry about that. I did manage to get a wig for my Snow White costume though. It isn't a typical snow white hairdo, but a black wig with a bob-style hair. I bought a red bow to wear with it also, but they didn't sell just single bows, so I ended up buying a pack with like ten bows in it. I now feel obligated to wear a bow at least once a week. we looked for shoes there too (they had a shop next door with shoes) but we didn't find anything the right size that would match my dress. My mom doesn't exactly believe that my bobs match the dress perfectly. Its a floor length dress, so it doesn't matter that much.
We went to party city next. We managed to get the last snow white costume they had. The only thing was that its really short, so we bought some fabric at walmart that we are going to use to make a longer skirt. I was rather suprised that they were still selling costumes at this time of the year.
My mother and I then ate at Casa Ole in the mall before heading to walmart. There were some stops in between there, but nothing important. Most of the stores were closing up.
I am about to fall asleep while typing. Blech.
Love,
Elizabeth W.

Laugh, Kukubara, Laugh...
Kukubara sits in the old gum tree
Merry merry king of the bush is he
Laugh, Kukubara laugh
Kukubara, gay your life must be...
Lizardbreath sits near the old gum tree
Hears Mr. Kukubara laugh at she
Die, Kukubara die
You know not the worries of that lady...
Yes, that was rather violent, but it got across a point (hopefully). Actually, I really just have that song stuck in my head and I thought I might be able to share it so you could join in on the suffering... ANYWAY, I am super worried about a million different things right now. I am like a stress toy being squished in on every side and I cannot return to my original shape. I am also extremely tired and I have a million different things to do.
The field trip yesterday was fun, and I managed to get some decent video out of it. I have some interesting ideas as to what I will do, but I can guarantee that it will be something Youtube-worthy. It may take a week or so before I post it though, because I am, as previously stated, SUPER BUSY!!!
Tomorrow we have a clinic for One Act Play. That means that from 10:00 AM to about 7:00 PM I will be gone and I cannot work on homework or anything. I have a quiz in Aquatic Science on monday, I have at least one scholarship that has to be mailed before the end of next week and several others to work on, I have to call the people at SHSU to get them my SSN that they were missing, and I have to learn the lines for two plays. I think theres more, but I cannot recall at the moment.
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!
Oh, and the reason I used the "stress toy" analogy earlier was that I saw this thing on ThinkGeek that I really really really really really want. Its a Doctor Who Adipose stress toy. Remember the episode with the weight loss drug and the little fat creatures that were really aliens but they were completely made of fat? Yeah, its one of those creatures. And its a stress toy. And its absolutely adorable. However, they are sold out on thinkgeek and they cost like $40 on Amazon.com, but they're like $25 or so one Ebay and the next time I have $25 to spend, I WILL have my own adipose toy. Oh, and did you know that the word adipose tissue actually refers to fat? I never realized that they wree being scientifically accurate. Yay for nerds and british people! Man, I bet this blog would sound really good if it were read out lound in a british accent...
I really need some sleep and some time off from life. I don't want to die, I just want to take a vacation. I would say that spring break would work, but 1) that is not soon enough and 2) I have only 2 days of spring break that will not be taken up by stuff...

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Anyway, so enough with that rant. I have been filling out scholarship applications like crazy and one of them asked about what I have learned about patriotic duty from the Pledge of Allegiance. So, this morning when I began writing the essay, which has to be like two pages long, I had to search through my brain to find something that would make sense when I regurgitated it on paper and I realized that I had never actually thought about what the pledge was saying. It was always just a kind of daily monologue that everyone had to recite. I think this essay might bring a little more meaning to it, but I think I just want to get the essay over with and all. I am a patriotic person, but I despise writing essays, especially hard to answer ones like that.
See you on monday, or maybe tomorrow.

AAAAAAAAAAAH! CHRISTMAS!
So, recently, in one of my classes, we had a fire drill. They normally don't bother me too much. You're sitting in class, an obnoxiously loud alarm goes off, everyone files out of the classroom and goes outside. Simple. But this time, we had it during one of the few times I have slept in school. There was nothing really important that we were doing in this particular class. We were supposed to be watching a movie, but it was a really boring documentary. All of the other kids in the class were asleep, so I decided to sleep too. The night before, I barely got any sleep. So, I fell asleep on my desk. Then, the fire alarm goes off. Think of the alarm clock from hell going off. Its screaming in your ears and your head hurts and you have to get up, run down the stairs and go outside and you may or may not have forgotten your jacket and its freezing cold out there! That was the absolute worst fire drill I have ever experienced, and the worst way ever to wake up.
Now that that rant is over, heres another. I know that thanksgiving hasn't even passed yet, but its already feeling like Christmas time to me. I heard Christmas music playing when I went to Walmart the other day and I was like "WHAT THE HECK?" but now I keep getting Christmas songs stuck in my head. I made a Christmas wishlist a long time ago, so I am not doing that, I am, however, making a Christmas set list for my brother and I. Basically, it is a list of all of the Christmas songs that we plan to learn and play at every family gathering and post on YouTube pretty soon after Thanksgiving. So far, there are about five or so songs including "Blue Christmas", "Who Spiked the Eggnog", and "All I want for Christmas is you". I have the last one stuck in my head right now. The thing is, I don't know all of the words to any of those songs. AM I CRAZY??? Probably, but thats besides the point. Okay, well, I guess I ahve to say bye for now since I thought of something that I need to do.

Question of the day:
Do YOU write a Christmas wishlist? If so, have you written it already?
Okay, talk to you all later! And merry almost Christmas!
